Floral

Hello again to all my lovely readers.......we have flowers today....summery and bright.....
........this is my new favourite jug filled with flowers from our garden.......
.......and featuring the easy four patch quilt in pretty floral fabrics too....(the pdf quilt pattern is in my etsy shop link in bio)......
.........this dahlia (plant) is impressively large this year.......and there are lots of buds still to open.....
.......below is the sweetpea patch also filled with poppies.....our weather became cooler and we had rain so no need to do so much watering recently.....
..........a pot full of nasturtiums.......
........and a whole bed of white daisies against the picket fence......
......last weekend was the RHS flower show at tatton park in cheshire.......i visited with my dear daughter sarah....she now shares my garden enthusiasm :).......
.....it was a grey day and when we arrived it began to pour with rain.......(ironic after all the blazing heat we'd had and me joking about wanting some nice british drizzle....well, i got it and more besides)......
.........it was an interesting day though and lots to see........and certainly plenty of alliums reminding me to plant a lot more this year........love the massed drifts here.......
........today i spent gardening in my cottage garden....and discovering lupins invaded by aphids and snails.....lots to get busy with this weekend that's for sure......

.........thank you for dropping by to see me here dear readers and your sweet messages.......wishing you a happy week with flowers, sunshine and crafty inspirations......take care lovelies.........peace and love...........back soon xxxxxxxxxxx

Another inspiring post! I have your easy four patch pattern and have even bought some fat quarters to make it with - I really must get it done! You have a lovely home and garden, it looks so bright but peaceful.
