Summer Days

Hello lovely readers........it's a very hot day here and has been a very sunny week.......here is one of my old favourite summer quilts called the flower market quilt......
.........the little drawstring bag below is new, made from a piece of postage stamp patchwork using lots of pretty scraps ......the pattern is the dottie drawstring bag in my etsy shop link in sidebar.......
.....you can find the pretty cords and stops in lots of colours at rose garden patchwork online.....
........these little bags are very useful for all kinds of storage and popping in a bigger bag when you need to keep things tidily together.......also great for toys or sewing things......and they make lovely gifts in themselves, or with a small gift inside......
..........we were in wales earlier this week.......this picture was taken on the bridge in llangollen....
............and we enjoyed a walk beside the canal too.......the canal boat here takes tourists on a horse drawn boat trip along the waterway........so peaceful and beautiful........
........love these old stone bridges.......
.....we always love a tea room........
........and some traditional barge painting.......
..........lots of wild roses growing in the hedgerows..........
.....so enjoying these summer days and making the most of the sunshine........will leave you with a last view of this simple colourful summer patchwork .........
.....thank you so much for dropping by to see me here dear readers........and for your kind comments and messages....such a treat :)........wishing you happy sunny days and crafty inspirations........take care lovelies ............peace and love.............back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Lovely bag and quilt. The horse drawn boat rides, those are the smoothest most elegant boat rides ever!

Beautiful quilt and bag Helen, as always your work is so gorgeous! :)
What a lovely trip to beautiful Wales, your pics are so pretty.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend my friend, it has eventually stopped raining here, no sunny heatwave for us sadly,
