Spring and Snow

Hello lovelies and welcome to my blog on this bright but snow covered day in my little corner of the uk.....

.....we need all our quilts today.......and after spring time coming along so nicely over the past couple of weeks suddenly we are having a cold snap and winter's back......

........but never mind....the sugar bunnies, like lettuce here, have put their cardies on and are enjoying some carrot cakes.......and we are making lots of spring decorations, like fabric carrots.....

.....and cross stitched seed packets.......(all patterns in my etsy shop link in sidebar).....

.....we even have a new poppy seed packet design today to brighten up the snow day....

.......below is my new rainbow quilt made from tilda scraps.....

.....it was fun to make and the lovely longarm machine quilting was done by scrapbox quilting......

.........below is my hand quilted spring nine patch with some sweet spring flowers....

........on a walk before the snow came....snowdrops in this picturesque churchyard....

.........and along the lane to the church the first blossom tree........

........ today in our garden..........a blanket of snow.......sunny though so it's beginning to thaw.....
