Cosy Crafting

Hello again lovely readers....welcome to my blog after a very chilly week here with icy winds, and lots of snow.....perfect though for staying in and crafting........this is my zoe zipper pouch......
......made from sweet little floral scraps and some geometric ones too......
.......it has added surface stitching and some buttons.......as well as a decorative cherry zipper charm....
.....these are fun to make, and quick too.......and i love playing with pretty fabrics and choosing buttons....
..........below is my sewing table.....the cottage garden quilt is having a turn on the wall this month...
..........the hyacinths scent the air and remind us spring isn't that far away.......
...........and here is the blue chair with the vintage hearts cushion and a pink primrose....
......fabrics, flowers and crafting always help to keep me cheery during january and its bleak days....
........along with candles and cosy firelight too.......
.........each evening i work on a quilt, hand quilting is perfect for this time of year as the quilt also keeps you cosy while you sew.....
........i just had to go out and take a quilt in the snow picture .....crunching about in the freezing air....this is my heartstrings quilt on the cottage garden fence on a snowy but sunny day.....(this quilt and the zoe zipper pouch and vintage hearts cushion patterns are all in my etsy shop link in sidebar)........

.....thank you for dropping by dear readers and for your kind comments....wishing you a happy week wherever you are and whatever the weather.......hope you have sunshine and flowers and crafty inspirations....peace and love.............back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Cosying under a quilt while you sew it sounds perfect Helen. :)
Love your quilt in the snow pic ... although I can't wait for it to warm up a bit if I'm honest.
Happy weekend lovely,

Love your quilt in the snow photo with the bright colours against the white. Lovely views from your sewing studio, too.
