March

Hello lovely readers......lots of bright flowers and fabrics to share this week......
..........first a colourful quilt stack in the corner of my sewing room......with the first spring flowers from our garden......there aren't many yet, but we do have early daffodils, some very early striped tulips and lots of hellebores......
..........next are some sweet little lined drawstring fabric pouches......
........this is my new penny pouch (pattern in my etsy shop link in sidebar)........
.........this one was made from the adorable belle and boo easter egg hunt fabric.......perfect to contain easter treats......
.........the blue one below is for tiny sewing things........fabric from rose garden patchwork, as are the colourful drawcords and stops.......
.........these are simple to sew and i will be making more of them soon......
...........more spring colours in my little lollipop flowers picture which also has a pattern in my etsy shop.....
.........a pretty picture for any room especially a garden room or conservatory.......
..........this week has been cold and windy much of the time so there has been a lot more quilting and a lot less gardening going on at my house.......
..........below is a peek at my new spinning tops quilt which is finished....the binding freshly sewn on and just a pattern to write and pictures to take now......it was such a fun one to make with lots of favourite scraps incorporated into the triangles......i do love a scrappy quilt.......
.....thank you for dropping by dear readers and for your very kind messages.....it's always lovely to hear from you......wishing you a cheerful week with sunshine, bright colours, joyful flowers and hopeful hearts......take care lovelies.....back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Beautiful Helen.
We have had fine weather and the daffodills are thinking about coming out, but thankfully not. Tomorrow we are supposed to have drastic change from 60ºF to 25º in less than 24 hours. It sounds shocking, I will stay home and watch the rain change to a full blown blizzard.
Crazy silly March.
Your creations are always so inspiring, I adore the little purses and hope to make a few this year.
Stay warm and cozy dear friend

So bright and cheerful - love your beautiful stack of quilts and pouches. Everything spells Easter. Your lovely wall hanging and flowers are so pretty.
We have blowing wind and snow today, but it is still bright enough to stitch by, so I am enjoying my stitching and sewing :)!
Enjoy your weekend, Helen!
