Sewing Hearts

Hello everyone...it's been a bright and sunny day here today and for most of this week too.....
......on my work table are some pretty little patchwork hearts being decorated for valentine's day...
.......i had some little paper flowers and bits of tape measure ribbon......
.....some sweet little silk flowers (bought from amazon)........
.....and tiny satin bows in my crafty stash.......lots more to make and embellishments to add.....the pattern for these patchwork hearts is now in my etsy shop link in sidebar.....and there are suggestions for how to decorate them too.....
...........below....i finally finished the hand quilting on the dorothy quilt and have made the binding.....the pattern is coming soon.........
....we have had some lovely walks this week, really enjoying our time outdoors and appreciating the beauties of nature.....below is the woodland next to the common where we often walk......some of the paths were so muddy and so churned up we had to carry the dog over them!.......
....we also visited ness botanic gardens where i took the following pictures....
..........beautiful red berries against blue sky...one of my favourite fabric colours combinations too....
..........sweet pink camellias blooming among glossy green leaves.......
........and the first of this year's snowdrops.......below is this week's quilt stack topped with a little patchwork bird (pattern also in my etsy shop).......the hyacinths and carnations in the little greengate jug there have such a gorgeous scent.......

.....thank you for dropping by to my little bit of blogland dear readers.....and thank you for your kind comments.......wishing you a happy week ahead with plenty of cheery sunny days and crafty inspirations......take care lovelies......back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Helen, I love looking and reading.
Your hearts are adorable. I should make some for my grand babies x5
The Dorothy quilt is a beauty

I have two pink camellias in my back yard in my hill garden with steppy stones. They are huge now and I love every year enjoying their heartiness in the very cold winter months in Northern Virginia, 35 miles west of the cesspool
You are always so inspiring.
Today I am hiding in my house due to covid exposure. I can't get my 98 year old daddy sick. So I am sorting scraps.
Stay healthy happy and warm
