Cherry Blossom Time

Hello again lovely readers......it's time for some cherry blossom pictures here, making the most of it as the blossom begins to fall and float away like snowflakes......
.......this sweet and cheery cherry fabric recently inspired me to sew another of my tiny tote bags....the wide border was used for the front of the bag, and the all over cherry and check part was perfect for the lining...the handles are made from a striped print...all fabrics are japanese and bought from rose garden patchwork.....
.....when it was time to photograph the little bag i knew just what to add....some white cherry blossom....
........such a gorgeous time of year....love to go for walks and spy new blossoms opening...though some have definitely been blighted by the unseasonable frost and snow we had as they developed...the churchyard cherry tree i always photograph has almost no blossom this time......
.......the early cherry blossoms are so delicate and pretty.....
.......had to snap this big seagull too while i was taking pics in the garden....the house below is our neighbours...the view is of the sea and beyond the sea (this bit is the estuary) is wales........
......a sprig of precious blossom in the potting shed.....
........we also have bluebells beginning to open now, along the lanes, through the woods and in our garden....here is a little bluebell jug on my work table, with the favourite four patch boat quilt i'm quilting at the moment.....
........and there are beautiful forget me nots too........love their tiny perfection and colour.....
.......pink flower scissors to cut a posy from the garden are an essential....
.........and finally a blossom against blue sky picture......just had to have one of these.....

.........thank you for visiting me here dear readers and for your kind comments....it's always lovely to hear from you......wishing you a happy, cheerful week with sunshine, flowers and crafty times.....keep well lovelies....back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You really can't beat a blossom and a blue sky pic!! :)
Aren't bluebells and forget-me-nots just the most amazing colour.
I really do love your pretty little bag, I have to admit to buying that print in the green colourway, it is beautiful.
Wishing you a happy weekend my dear,

Stupenda la stoffa e la tua borsa. Belli anche i fiori di ciliegio.
