Sweet Spring Days

Hello again dear blog friends.......here i am again after a sunny happy easter.....we had a beautifully sunny warm easter sunday when the littlest grandchildren had their egg hunt here.....we were able to sit in the garden all day and enjoy our easter treats.......
.........which was so lucky because the next morning at breakfast hubby and i noticed it was actually snowing outside!!........
..........here's mabel with her basket full of fabric eggs and her rainbow cardigan.....
.........the beatrix potter egg hunt signs were dotted around the garden by me, and the many foil covered little eggs were hidden among the flowers and foliage by my elder daughter and eldest grandson......
.........an egg hunt is always fun for the tinies and it's so lovely to see their excitement ........
.........this is my irish chain quilt and below are some new spring fabric birds......
...........looking decorative in the potting shed.......
......the bunny, birds, eggs and quilt patterns can all be found in my etsy shop link in sidebar....
.............here are some tulips blooming in the cottage garden......
.........and below is a bucket of blossom next to the beehive.....a neighbour's tree needed pruning and i retrieved some branches and put them in my blue bucket in the kitchen......they flowered so fast and looked so pretty for our easter time.....
..........lots of happy scrappy sewing going on here, like this easy four patch quilt below....and lots of pretty flowers to enjoy......soon i'll be going out on a blossom hunt, taking photos.......don't want to miss any of these gorgeous spring moments.....

........thank you so much for dropping by to see me here dear readers and for the kind comments you leave me...it's always so nice to hear from you......wishing you a wonderful week with sunshine, flowers and plenty of crafty inspiration......take care lovelies.........back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

A funny old week weather-wise, Helen, but your garden looks lovely! It is so sad to see that some of the magnificent displays of magnolia that were just emerging have been frost damaged. However, blossom season is only just starting!

It's looking lovely there and so springy. I loved seeing all of the flowers and the garden and picket fence! One of these days (years) I want a picket fence in my yard "somewhere". Oh I have plans.. but don't if they'll ever come to fruition. I can dream can't I? Nothing sweeter than flowers in a row along a picket fence (white of course)! I bet the Easter egg hunt was a hit for the young ones (and older ones too). Your little signs are sweet.. and your quilts are always a hit with me! Have a great week ahead! Marilyn

Such a lovely Easter - and yes, so happy it came before the 'Spring Snow' arrived. We've been having rain and warmer weather here. Everything is blossoming fast - time for more yard work :)! Looking forward to sitting on our back deck again. Happy sewing, Helen!

Glad you have had a good Easter break. Sweet spring days indeed Helen when contemplating all your wonderful makes. I just love that sweet rainbow cardigan. The fabric eggs are gorgeous too. I have to say that I may not always post but I always hover here to indulge in all the eye candy. Keep well Amanda x Crafty in the Med
