Do What You Love

Hello again everyone.....we are back in my work room today...doing what we love....
.....it might be sewing a quilt, or choosing fabric for one....or knitting a new cardigan for mabel the big bunny....
.....or arranging quilts in a stack for a photo shoot.....
.....or any creative crafty thing you can think of.....
.......doing what you love is so good for you...even if only for a short spell.....
.......we are used to being in lockdown here but we love our daily walks.....here are some very early daffodils in our local park.....
........the daffodils in our garden are nowhere near flowering yet so it's always a joy and a surprise to see these pop up on our walks each spring...
.......and the snowdrops in the churchyard always look magical to me.....
.........back on my worktable now.....new buttons just arrived from a little bit of online shopping....
.......and vintage spools always make me happy......
.......at the moment i'm working on the big bunny cardigan pattern, and one or two quilt patterns too....the cross stitch sign pattern shown here will be released at the weekend and will appear in my etsy shop then.....(it can be made as a cushion too).......

......thank you so much for visiting my crafty space here today dear readers....and a big thank you to those who leave me a kind comment......always so lovely to hear from you.......wishing you a happy crafty weekend doing what you love..........take care and keep safe lovelies.........back soon xxxxxxxxxx

Love that sign - "Do what you love, everyday" - and those buttons. Helen you have such lovely, lovely items in your sewing room - and daffodils already on your walks.
We have had a huge amount of snow overnight - and I saw bunny tracks leading up our front porch and then slip in by or cedar bushes along the front of our house. Someone needed a new warm nest. Maybe Mabel can share her cardigan :)! It will be a while before our daffodils bloom - enjoy your daily walks.

What a perfect saying for these trying days. Crafting is such a great way to pass the time and feel like we're achieving something at the same time. Your bunnies are just gorgeous! Thanks for a lovely post. Liz

That's such a sweet motto. Doing what we love, even for a few moments in the day, is soul-soothing. I'm looking forward to doing more of that soon!

Helen, your pictures always make me happy. I hope you have a lovely sunny week-end. I live on the east coast of US (northern Virginia) and we have had heavy wind.... it is coming to you, soon. Sunday we are to have heavy snow all day and all day Monday too.
I invited 5.5 year old Sarah, my grand girl over tomorrow night. We are going to play with dolls, maybe go out in the snow, bake cookies, make cinnamon rolls, and just have a lot of fun. I might pitch the tent in the family room. and we can sleep on a lot of pillows.

This weather might be headed over to you in a few days!! Cheers

Your big bunny looks much warmer in her new sweater! :-) She might need some handknit socks, too. And a hat! LOL! We've got snowdrops up and in bud but none have opened yet. Daffodils also are up and budded. It's way too early as we could still get a freeze and snow. Stay well, my friend.
((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Hello helen,

Well, we are not at all crafty people, but have so enjoyed looking at your wonderful creations. Clearly, you not only have a strong imagination but also have the creative skills to match. The quilt is so pretty. The colours work so well together and it is not at all fussy. We love its restricted colour palette and the freshness of the white background. Lovely.
