Busy Sewing

Hello again dear readers.....here are some sewing project ideas....to keep busy and help us escape into a little creativity for a while.....i made some appliqué hearts using sweet liberty fabric.....
.......and used them to decorate pure white towels as a pretty gift set.......
....even nicer with a hand made soap too......see a styled shot in the en suite bathroom below...
.......scented candles and a soak in a hot bath...so relaxing :).....
........making gifts is a nice way to spend some lockdown time, thinking of loved ones and making things for them is even more special while many of us have to be apart........
.......my studio is filled with projects at the moment and i need to have a tidy up in there....love my little deer....these are all projects from the book.....you can follow the book tour over on instagram....all the talented makers have made beautiful projects and taken gorgeous photos of them....
.........the book is published by tuva publishing and can be ordered on amazon, other online bookshops and from any good book store......
........some pictures of my big vintage charm quilt now, which is actually finished and bound...
.......it was a lovely one to sew and to hand quilt and i will take lots more pictures of it to share soon....
......i've been reading lots of interesting books lately...this one is a children's book about emigration and is so beautiful....the welsh quilt travels across the ocean with the little family and brings comfort and cheer...
......thank you to everyone who drops by to my little bit of blog land for a little read of my online diary....your kind words are extra special too....wishing you a happy november dear readers....keep safe and well and enjoy the cosy moments.....take care lovelies.....back soon xxxxxxxxxx

Very pretty Helen! That bright red print looks gorgeous on the white towels! I have two of your books and need to make something. I just love looking at them and dreaming of what I want to make. I finally did make one of your fabric pumpkins! Want to make your little birdies...maybe some for Christmas!

Such a pretty project for gift giving, or for sprucing up one's own home. Your book arrived here this week, and I'm looking forward to sewing several projects sometime soon. It's a lovely book.

So many lovely things to keep you inspired and busy. Love your cute deer - such a cute nose on her. Stay safe Helen, we too still need to 'stay in our bubble' here.

Hello my friend! I'm happy to report that your book has arrived here in Oregon! I am looking forward to savoring it and hopefully using my cute little Singer Featherweight sewing machine to make some treasures held within the book.
((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I ordered your book in February and at last I expected to receive it from Amazon November 7th. It is showing as out of stock, so I am still waiting.!! Very frustrating as I have enjoyed all your other books. and am looking forward to this one. Joan mc.
