Autumn Treasures

Hello again dear readers........we are having a lovely cosy autumn week here.........these are my newly crafted fabric toadstools.......
......when i was an art student many years ago i often crafted things like this.......in embroidery we often made three dimensional things using wire, fabric, stuffing, embroidery, beads, etc and it was a lot of creative fun.....
........these toadstools are part of my autumn decor and will be fun for christmas too with their red and white dots........if you'd like to make some the same the pattern can be found in my etsy shop link in sidebar.......
..........here is my little toadstool pillow....... pattern also in my etsy shop.......
...........and my tiny toadstool pincushion with its little cross stitched image has a pattern there too......
...........we walked close to home one day this week,,,,enjoying the berries in someone's garden.....
...........and when our dog molly stopped and peeked though a suburban garden fence we had a little look too.....and saw this little flock........
.............some of nature's autumn treasures clustered on the edge of the path......toadstools, nutshells, nuts and autumn leaves.........
............my little autumn cupboard...........
.............this year's new fabric pumpkin made with lewis and irene snuggle season fabric.......
............candles in small terracotta flower pots are one of my favourite autumn decorations......
.....thank you so much for dropping by to my little bit of blog land dear readers..........thank you so much for your kind words ..........wishing you happy cosy autumn days (or spring days of course if you are reading this from the other side of the world!)...............take care lovelies.................peace and love........back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Good morning Helen. I like the idea of candles in little pots, but for safety reasons I'm going to use battery operated tea lights
placed in mini terra cotta pots. Safety first when you're a klutz like me!
