Frosty Cotswolds

Hello again dear readers.......back from our trip to the beautiful cotswolds and here i am to share a few of the pictures i took there......it was bright and frosty most days and everywhere looked so picturesque.....
.....we stayed in broadway, in a tiny cottage, and and this was one of my favourite houses on the main street......a daylight view.....
........and lit up at night........
......below is broadway tower which we climbed up to the top of and had amazing views of the surrounding frosty countryside.....
............view from one of the tower windows (didn't dare move the berry arrangement out of the way for my pic!).......
.........another beautiful house with frosty topiary........
.......of course i took a quilt or two with me.......
......this is the spinning tops quilt (pattern in my etsy shop link in sidebar)...... the cottage was very warm and well heated, with cosy christmas bedding, a twinkly christmas tree and a log fire.....
.........each evening we got wrapped up and walked down through the little town to enjoy the lights....it was so pretty and so christmassy......
..........and every day we walked through the frosty lanes and fields.....always coming upon something lovely.....
.........and then we drove home and into.....SnOw......so rare where we live by the sea.......but the day we got home it was beginning and the next day it was a winter wonderland.......

...........thank you for visiting me here lovely readers and for the kind comments you leave ......hope you are having a happy and peaceful countdown to christmas......wishing you warm and cosy days........take care lovelies...............peace and love...................back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
