..........and the lovely river view when the sun came out as we walked along the groves.....
.........river boat approaching (it's called the lady diana) and the bandstand in the foreground where we have often enjoyed music being played......after this we went to a cafe for tea and cake and a nice chat....
............at home again and here is my little toadstool house from our half term outing to the pottery cafe.....i secretly love this very much ;).......

Beautiful Chester, it has been many many years since I was in Chester but I do remember how pretty it was.

Hope you are not having the storm we are having at the moment ,with gusts of 91 mph winds .

Love all your cosy pictures - especially the Toadstool House with the sweet candle shining brightly inside. Beautiful pics of your outing - always enjoy seeing the buildings and scenery from where you live. We have a dusting of snow here with more to come this weekend. Everything is put away and 'put to bed' outside. No more sitting on the back porch till Spring :)! Lots of Christmas baking going on right now. Enjoy your weekend, Helen!

What a lovely outing you had! The Tilda Windy Days quilt is gorgeous and I just love that little toadstool pottery. I had a little toadstool moneybox when I was a child that looked just like it and I absolutely adored it! Have a lovely weekend! Hugs Christine xx
