Red, White and Reindeer

It's very cold here and we are glad of our cosy quilts......here is a small stack of red and white quilts...
........along with a few decorations and of course some bulbs bringing some fresh green to our home...
.....the pattern for the reindeer cushion i made last year is now in my etsy shop (link in side bar)...
......here it is on the white metal bed in the room where my lovely little grandchildren stay...or used to before this year's strange times.....
........and here too is the red and white checkerboard quilt which is also available as a pattern now in my etsy shop.....
......it's nice to get lots of things ticked off the to do list.....lots of christmas shopping has been done and parcels wrapped ready for posting off......
........cosy old checkerboard quilt.....cabbages and roses pillow cases to match....
.........and more reindeer....on the tree in the sitting room we have red and white ornaments....
.........this is the small tree that i usually put some chocolates on for the children....
..........a close up below of the red and white quilt......so simple but such an old favourite...
.........loving finding all the older decorations i'd forgotten about and adding some new ones like this little wooden slice joy ornament from my little chalet here.....

........thank you for visiting me here dear readers and for your lovely comments......hoping you are enjoying the countdown to christmas even if it is a bit different this year......enjoy the cosy moments and the little treats more than ever......take care lovelies and keep well........back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

All the adorable fabrics and your decor makes my heart sing....so pleasing to the eye. I always enjoy your posts! Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without candles..like the wonderful candles in your window in your last post. That window which is also covered in magical snowflakes...amazing!! Beautiful reindeer cushion too! It is going to be a quiet Christmas for us..as you say a strange Christmas....but I am content and happy just knowing that all my family are safe and well in the UK and here in Spain too. keep well Amanda x

Thank you for the post which is a feast for the eyes. I got some of those snowflake decals after seeing yours and have had fun sticking them to my windows here in Oregon. I hope we have some real snowflakes before Christmas. Stay warm and safe and enjoy the season. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Just beautiful! I could cozy up in that bed for sure. Did you make the cabbage rose pillow cases? Are they appliqué fabric? I looked on your etsy site but didn't see any pillow case patterns.

Everything is so festive and lovely. I've yet to do any decorating but will start in the next day or two. Our postal system here is the pits. They aren't even open for anyone to send mail, not that it would be guaranteed to get to its destination anyways. :( I really wish I lived somewhere that I could send and received cards, gifts, letters. Sending warm wishes your way. Take care.
