Dear helen. I'm back after 10 months away from my blog!! I am at present contacting all blogfriends on my blog list to try and catch up with all that has been going on here in blogland! I am also inviting everyone to my Fresh Start Giveaway which will be active all this month and open worldwide. I thought it would lift our spirits a little in these troubled times. I was quite relieved to see that you are still blogging because I have noticed quite a few bloggers have gone away. It is wonderful as always to pop in here and see your fresh colourful post packed with colour and that you have a new friend called Helene. She is beautiful!! lovely gifts too!! Happy belated birthday wishes Helen! Gorgeous star quilt! Keep well Amanda x

So glad you had a relaxing break Helen!
Little Hélène looks like she has settled in well, I know there will always be a beautiful quilt for her to snuggle up in. :) Speaking of which, I love your star quilt!
I need to getting some sock knitting done too, I have so much pretty sock yarn and so many beautiful patterns that I really want to knit.
Isn't it exciting the thought of lovely homegrown tomatoes and your peas look wonderful!!
Have a lovely new week my friend,
V x

Beautiful post as always Helen and I am glad you had a wonderful birthday, I had a big birthday myself yesterday but due to the strange circumstances didn't get to celebrate as I would have liked. Never mind, will have to do something next year! Hélène is so delightful, such pretty colours and the flowers are gorgeous too! Enjoy the rest of your week! Christine xx

I took a break for a few months and am back again. Beautiful flowers for your birthday! The quilt looks great. I am planning to start knitting, but it is too hot over here in Greece at the moment. But no socks! I've done that once, and that was enough. Love the rabbit! So cute.
