Happy February dear readers.......the days are getting lighter and there are primroses to enjoy...even popping up in the garden as well as in pots in the house and greenhouse.....
...........here is my irish chain flower quilt making progress......
............and some beautiful tulips from the local greengrocers in the perfect shade of pinky red.....
..............i love all the different shades of primroses available.........
...........below is a picture taken in the greenhouse.........looking forward to sowing new seeds in here soon and beginning the next phase of growing plants in my cottage garden......
..............here is my new little patchwork heart complete with pottery button from the lovely cynthia cranes pottery......the fabrics are tilda's new happy campers...........
...............here's the heart hanging on my little vanilla cupboard............
............this cupboard was a present from my lovely husband (tipped off by our elder daughter one christmas and what a lovely surprise it was for me!).....it's not easy to photograph though due to all the reflections.....
...........at the weekend hubby and i walked in our nearby botanical gardens and saw these gorgeous camellias in bloom amongst the pine trees....and with a beautiful blue sky above.....
...........we've also had some gorgeous sunrises like the one below taken through the window....
...........today i am sewing something flowery with some flowery fabrics......it may be windy and a bit grey but there are lots of signs of spring on the way and lighter brighter days......
...........thank you for your visit dear readers and for your kind comments......wishing you all a wonderful week ahead with bright times, sweet flowers and lots of crafty inspirations.......back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Loving the Tilda fabrics and I think Fat Quarter Shop here in the U.S. is now carrying some of them....YAY!!! Your flowers are so lovely. We do not have good flowers here at all. Artificially dyed daisies and roses with no smell! Your cupboard is so wonderful! What a treasure and your husband too for getting it for you! Your new quilt is so pretty and I love the little patchwork heart with the ceramic button. Your world is just the prettiest! Have a great week!
That's another lovely quilt, Helen, and your heart with the pottery button is adorable. Snow is falling here today, but it's not going to last long as the temps are just around freezing or above. Still, it's pretty and perfect for spending some time creating. Enjoy your week!
Love the quilt and heart and what a pretty button.

Pretty pretty images! Now I want a pot or two of primroses! And tulips! LOL! I adore your new patchwork heart, I won one from you a few years back and I treasure it. I have it hanging from the knob on my grandfather clock all year long. But right now it's on my dining table with the sequined hearts I crafted years ago next to my Valentine decorations. Thank you! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Beautiful flowers.
Your "Reindeer Road" sign inspiration, and the well received feedback (from relatives) on my reindeer holiday card design, are on my all year round creating list. I'm adding the hearts for pillows to the list.
I really like the quilt topper. I forget to use lots of solid colours to make the florals pop out so you have given me some inspiration. Have a good week. I have finished my postage stamp quilt and I think you could spy some of your little fabric scraps I won in a give away a while back. I didn't want to waste a single one.

Your posts are always so inspirational, Helen! Looking forward to planting some primroses in my flower baskets this Spring. Love all the beautiful colours. Your quilt is so pretty - enjoy your hand quilting on it. Happy Wednesday!
Such pretty photographs for a miserable February, brightens my day up.
Lovely post - yes, we are wishing spring to arrive! :-)
Amazing how many beautiful flowers you always seem to have growing. And always so many lovely projects being made.
It looks like spring here already. Your Tilda projects are always so pretty. Can't wait to see what you're working on now!
