I know, I cannot believe this month is almost over?!? It's one of my favorites. I made some fabric pumpkins from your pattern and they are cute! I'm sewing more and really enjoying it. I made Halloween pillowcases for the grands. Your fuchsia berries are beautiful! I love bittersweet too. Do you have that? I too am a soup lover and I could definitely live on soups, breads and salads. Love your log cabin and I wish we could get Tilda fabric here. Fat Quarter shop is carrying some of her buttons so I'm hoping maybe fabric next? Although there are so many beautiful fabrics out there in addition to Tilda.
Enjoy your Fall and Happy Halloween! Do you celebrate Halloween?

The Bow Tie quilt is lovely with this fabric collection. Since I live in Maine, I didn’t know there is such a tree as your Fuchsia which is beautiful. We had heavy rain yesterday which always leads to tons of leaves on the ground. Our fall foliage was fantastic this year and for us it peaked around October 10th. Still have some bright yellow, gold, and even some brighter orange/rust leaves for color. Many homes have Burning Bush shrubs that are their height of flaming red right now. All of your pictures are beautiful to look at and thanks for posting.

You bow tie quilt is lovely fabric to dye for. The weather here in Worcester has just turned colder. The trees are getting ready to turn. I make soup all the time it is so satisfying with home made bread.
Thanks for sharing a snap shot into your crafting life.

Soup is wonderful all year round but particularly on a cold autumn (or winter!) day.

Such a beautiful October post - so many delightful pictures of your yard and pretty sewing projects. Couldn't believe my eyes with your huge Fuchsia bush. My parents loved their fuchsia plants and each year, I had to buy a hanging plant of this, to place on the corner of their covered porch entrance. To see a whole bush of them is just awesome!

I really enjoy reading your blog and looking at your beautiful photos you share. This is a lovely time of year and it is a reminder that we need to savor these last days, last months. They go by so quickly.
Thank you Helen for always inspiring me, and others. You really are a bright gem for a friend.
