May Flowers

Happy new week dear readers......we're enjoying our long bank holiday weekend here....i picked a bunch of flowers to put in this big crackle pot in my sewing room......the flowers you can just see through the window are window boxes full of petunias (planted by mr p)......
............. lots of gardening and general floral enjoyment going on here.........many of these flowers were self seeded from the original plants....i love the aquilegia and how they pop up all over the place....
..............lots of posies too..............here is my new quilt with little applique plums.....
..............made with tilda lazy days fabrics and some polka dots and stripes from my stash.....
.............i am so enjoying mixing these colours and seeing how the patterns blend together....
...........just as colours blend in nature..........here's a peek at the cottage garden....
.........looking forward to the roses opening and lots of alliums too..........
................the bees are busy in the foxgloves......can you see the buzzing bee here?.....
.........and despite mixed weather the pelargoniums i grew as cuttings have now come out of the greenhouse and are in a big pot ready to enjoy their summer outdoors.....
..............always inspired by gardens and flowers....here is my project in this month's issue of crafts beautiful magazine here........a little bit of vintage seed packet inspiration and cute radishes.......
............it will soon be time for afternoon tea here and we will be having it in a sheltered part of the garden (it's quite breezy in some places today)...........hope you are having a good start to the week everyone......thank you so much for visiting me here and a special thank you to those who take the time to leave me a comment....it's so nice to hear from you and i really do appreciate it.......wishing you sunshine and flowers and lots of crafty inspirations................back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Am LOVING all the lavenders and purples in your garden, and in your sweet quilt! How fun to see your flowers blooming everywhere.. in buckets and tubs and along the pretty picket fence... sigh... I just love your cottage garden! We are just barely getting started here with flowers in central Oregon... has been cold at night, too windy and just a few warm days that teased us into thinking we could plant, but was too early still. How wonderful to have so many "wild" flowers and flowers that pop up all by themselves. Your cross stitch project of the seed packet is just darling too! xoxo Marilyn

You are in flower heaven there in your beautiful cottage garden.. and to be able to grow enough to have vases of flowers all around your home is pretty wonderful. I have a little vase of Double Delight roses on the little table next to me. I'm crocheting on my Dune blanket while keeping Dayle company as he convalesces. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Your garden is as pretty as all of your quilts and stitching! Soft pastel colors flowing gently and soft. Your photography is wonderful as well, that's a great picture of the bee!

Happy summer days ahead for all! :)

Such a pretty garden you have.
Must take hours of work.
I can see where a lot of your inspiration comes from.
Your cross stitch is so pretty, I wish I had the patience to do it.
Thank you for sharing.

I am 48, have 3 children, 2 boys age 25 and 22 and a daughter of 11. My husband left me last year after 25 years of marriage (he turned 50). It has been the most difficult year of my life, but full of lessons about myself and what life and marriage are all about. I am passionate about marriage and i didn't give up on my husband. resides in USA, I entered online in search of advice on how i can amend my marriage while i was at work. I saw so many positive reviews and nice feed back about how a Doctor called Robinson.buckler@ yahoo. com has been wonderful with his work. I gave a shot to make contact with him via his Email and he assured me that my marriage will be peaceful and i believed in his words. 16 hours after he finished work, my husband came back home pleading and now, we are living peacefully again. Get in contact with him if you need any help.
