I'm so envious of your garden and real dirt and real flowers coming up! I can't even see our ground yet.. too much snow! Will probably be another month before we can see any dirt around here. Those bellis daisies are so cute... love them. And love your sweet quilt with the pink and blue tickings and little apples. Would love to cuddle up in it on our COLD winter nights still. Was down to 12 degrees last night! I'm really looking forward to some warmer weather and some day trips! xoxoo Marilyn

Oh Helen, your garden is so pretty. I am in Northern Virginia and we do not have any such pretty displays of spring
This week is starting out nice and sunny though
I adore your live flowers indoors they are just incredible.
And your quilt is adorable. I just love it

Oh my... it looks like Spring has sprung in your cottage garden, dear Helen!! Those little Bellis Daisies are the cutest things ever. I'll have to try to find some. Your apple quilt is also precious.. you're so talented! Enjoy your garden.. we're still waiting for warm weather to arrive in Corbett, Oregon, USA. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I discovered your blog this week, Helen, when I was researching hand-piecing on Pinterest. I love all your photos - the patchwork, the flowers, the décor, the colours and prints - all very satisfying! I have started to hand-piece blocks from the Farmer’s Wife quilt - all duck egg and cream though maybe I need one more shade, not sure. I have never hand-pieced before and am finding it most therapeutic. It may even induce me to try to hand quilt it too! It will probably end up as a lap quilt as all 111 blocks are a little daunting.

Love the photos of your spring flowers - the unseasonably warm weather we had in February certainly brought them out early. Best wishes from windswept Cambridgeshire x
