And a Bit More Snow......

Hello again lovely readers...…..as you can see i have been having a lot of fun in the snow over the past week...yes, we actually had another snowfall and not just a dusting this time.....
……….and i went out with my camera and grabbed this starry quilt on the way.....it was a lucky choice i do believe.....
………..on the picket fence...…..in the background is the beech hedge which keeps its brown old leaves until spring when the new green leaves emerge...…..
……….my grandchildren came here after school one snowy afternoon and had a fun time playing in our snowy garden...……..
………..and one day i made a snow picnic :) …………..it certainly was a cold one.....
……...this is the little chair from the potting shed.....painted blue many years ago and decorated with a little bird and berries design by me...…..i dragged it out for a snowy pic to make the most of the opportunity....it might not snow here again for a very long time....
………….our snowy roof...….and  beautiful blue sky......

……...and peeking through the snow are some pretty little grape hyacinths.....
………..i've been busy indoors as well as playing in the snow....i painted this little chair with grey chalk paint...it looks so much prettier now....my kind hubby bought the white lisianthus flowers for me as a nice surprise....
………..and i've been sewing and making too......and writing up patterns.....below is the little quilt which is my project in the new crafts beautiful magazine in the shops now.....
………..the mini quilt is made with a winter countryside charm pack of lewis and irene fabric and there is a little cross stitch fox tag to match (not pictured though as i forgot)………….. if you'd like to you can find me on instagram during the week and my facebook page is working again now (yay) so you can also find me there.....thank you so much for dropping in to my little blog world and for your very kind comments too...always a pleasure to hear from you...…..have a wonderful week ahead and if you are in the chillier regions of the world keep cosy ……...back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Your quilts look lovely against a snowy background.
It's nice to see flowers popping their heads above the snow.
Hopefully spring is just round the corner.
Your bunnies look lovely and cosy wrapped up in that snug quilt.

Your pretty chair and quilt look wonderful in the snow Helen ... how brave are those little grape hyacinths!! We got off quite lightly with the snow although it absolutely poured down yesterday and spoilt my walk!! Beautiful here today though, so perhaps that will be your weather tomorrow!
I just adore those little bunnies in bed under their gorgeous quilt. :)
Have a lovely week,
V x

Helen,
What a cute idea, a snow picnic! I probably would never try it though. lol
Such a cozy bedtime for the bunnies under your cute little quilt. I love your little white painted chair displayed with the sweet blue and white jug, blue books and patchwork pillow.
We have had a complete change of weather with warmer rainy days and foggy nights. That is just February in Indiana! Hoping for a real spring here soon!
Thank you for sharing.

Oh I love love love your snowy photo shoot! What a cute little snow picnic you made for your grandchildren.. what a neat memory for them! I love seeing your photos larger so I read your post, then scroll back up and click on the top image, then arrow through all of them so I can see them better! You're really a talented craftswoman AND an amazing photographer. What camera do you use? ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

How absolutely CUTE is the little bunny bed! What little child would not love that.. and to see the bunnies so sweetly wrapped up in the tiny quilt. I bet your grands have a wonderful time at your house! and a snow picnic? Great idea.. and love the newly painted gray chair. Also love the blue chair against the white snow. We've had our first real snowfall here in central Oregon.. about 4 inches now and more coming down and about 19 degrees right now. Has been much worse here, but this is the first "storm" of the winter. I'm not complaining as we haven't had the snow we did last year and the year before.. so a few inches is such right. I never get tired of snowy pictures! xoxo Marilyn

You really did take advantage of the snow that fell. When it comes so rarely it's a treat! I'm still hoping here...
