Garden Days

Hello lovely blog friends...here i am again after another sunny, flowery week......above you can see our *side door* roses coming into bloom now.........
.........and the bright candy pink rose in front of the potting shed is also opening......
.....every year i take a picture of the potting shed at this time with the bright pink roses and often a quilt....this time it is the flowery version of my vintage log cabin quilt (pattern in my etsy shop link in sidebar)....
.........below is a posy of roses with the sweetest scent picked for my granddaughter daisy's 13th birthday.....she is such a sweetie and my daughter organised  a lovely party for her to celebrate being a teen......
.........below a pic my daughter sent of the roses and party area with pink balloon arch :).......
..........another arch now....this is the entrance to the beautiful laundry garden in denbigh, north wales.....it was open for charity for the national gardens scheme last weekend and we went to see it......
.....it was so beautiful....and a warm sunny day too, perfect for wandering round and enjoying all the lovely planting and structures.........below is a bit of the herbaceous border.......
........and masses of roses and alliums outside the tearoom.......tea was delicious with homemade cakes and proper tea in china cups.......such a happy atmosphere.......
...........i love a walled garden so much.....(when i was a small child we lived in a victorian house with a walled garden and i can still remember every detail of it now)......the laundry garden is amazing as it feels very old and established but has been created in recent years....such a labour of love.......
.........a few more flowers now on my gather the flowers quilt hanging on the little quilt cupboard for this week's quilt stack........
...........we are packing our suitcases tonight ready to go on holiday tomorrow to the seaside, staying in a cottage in the english countryside and exploring part of the coast we've never been to before.......so i'll be taking a little blog break next week but will share pictures when i get back.......
........thank you for dropping by to my little blog space dear readers and for the kind comments and messages you leave me.......wishing you a Happy June with flowers and sunshine and crafty inspirations......   take care lovelies...................peace and love.................back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I love walled gardens, too, and love visiting them when we come to Europe. They are very rare here in our area.
Beautiful roses. Enjoy your holiday!
