Autumn Making

Hello again dear readers.......it's a bright and sunny autumn day here after a lot of cold, windy, rainy days...
........and here is my red fox pincushion to share with you.....a cross stitch motif that i designed a while  ago and decided to use for this little project with some pretty autumn coloured fabric scraps.....
.........the pattern is in my etsy shop...link in sidebar......if you would like it.....below you can see the stitching in progress...it is stitched on even weave linen but could also be stitched on aida fabric.....
.......like the little tag below, cross-stitched onto pale grey aida.......
..........this week there is a lot of hand quilting going on here as i'm working on this autumn irish chain quilt made from lots of scraps and jelly roll strips found during my recent sewing room sort out....
......here it is on my quilt cupboard door....along with my adorable little vintage style bear called honey, made for me by the talented shelley who can be found on instagram as @ada_bee_....
...........also here is my biggest fabric pumpkin so far :).......
..........red fox pincushion shown below on the work in progress autumn quilt.....
..........little tag.....so cute to add to any gift for friends who love little critters......
..........on an autumn walk this week......fallen leaves and a little cottage up the lane.....
.........i love this time of year...makes me so nostalgic and i love the colours and the light.....

.........thank you so much for dropping by to my blog space lovely readers....and thank you for the kind comments that you leave me...always so nice to hear from you......wishing you a wonderful week ahead and hope you are keeping safe and well........take care lovelies........back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

What a cute little fox stitchery! I love him! Your bear is so cute too.. I hope you show some more close-ups on him next time. I enjoyed all your photos, you really are a skilled photographer and a master at artistically arranging your items. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I've just discovered your blog and I love your style and everything you make! The fox pin cushion is adorable and I really like cross stitch combined with patchwork.
