Flower Wreath Quilt

Hello again dear readers and welcome to my blog........today we have a new quilt to share with you

.........it's a new flower wreath quilt with delicate colours and lots of quilting to create texture......(the pattern is in my etsy shop link in sidebar)........

..........the wreaths are made from simple appliqué and can be stitched by hand or by machine if you prefer.....
.........each wreath block is surrounded by striped sashing and pink cornerstones......the fabrics are sweet liberty by moda, tilda stripes, and kona cotton solid in white.......the quilting was done in two ways....first it was longarm machine quilted with a berry and leaf pattern by debbie at scrapbox quilting and then it was hand quilted round the wreaths and butterflies by me.......i love the squishy vintage style of this quilt.....
.........more flowery quilts here with the flower pots quilt on the back of the chair.......
........and a stack of scrappy floral quilts........
...........some of my mother's day flowers from the weekend.......i'm such a lucky mother......
.........a sweet hydrangea for my cottage garden......and a beautiful bouquet of cherry pink tulips....
.............this week there was a very high tide on our bit of coastline so we went to watch the waves crashing....
..........it was sunny and blue and there were flocks of seabirds as well as single large white gulls......so beautiful and timeless......the high tide meant the water was lapping over onto the promenade.....(we had our boots on fortunately).......
..........on the walk back i snapped these beautiful daffodils giving the roadside a bright splash of colour...

.....thanks for calling by dear readers..........thanks so much for your kind comments and wishing you a wonderful week with happy crafty times...........take care lovelies ............peace and love.......back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Beautiful quilts Helen, I do love your new one, so pretty.
Lots of gorgeous flowers too ... you never can have too many hydrangeas in my opinion. :)
Happy weekend my dear,
