Snowflakes

Happy December dear readers.......we have got some snowflakes to show you today....this is a tiny window at the back of our victorian house....with lots of snowflakes looking wintry and festive.....
.....i bought them from amazon, on a whim, and had a fun time placing these snowflake decals...
........we rarely have actual snow here so these give a welcome wintry effect.....
....i also put some on the sewing room window......here is my newly finished flying geese cushion....
.......a closer view of this quilted squishy patchwork cushion which i enjoyed sewing....
.........the winter quilt made with fleurs de noel fabrics by french general for moda is being hand quilted at the moment....here it is in the sewing room window....
.........and here are some snowflakes reflected in my coffee cup....such a nice surprise...
........this quilt is my evening stitching project while watching movies...so cosy.....
........and when the book you're reading matches your quilt...you just have to show it.....a very interesting book....recollections and life experiences woven through textile memories......
........new xmas decorations....i made these striped cones from the pattern in my book home sweet home sewing.....they are on the dresser here for my photo but i'll be adding them to the sitting room tree with sweeties in nearer christmas ......
.........one last picture peeking through the tiny window to see a little deer (also from my new book) among the candles and snowflakes......

.........thank you for dropping in to my little bit of crafty blogland lovely readers, and thank you for your kind comments.....wishing you a cosy, creative, happy, twinkling, cheerful and safe December.....stay well my lovelies..........back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you for the little visit to your home. It's all looking so lovely and festive and how wonderful to have your snowflakes reflecting in your coffee. I thought it was a candle in a teacup at first :)

We rarely see snow, too, and I have some crocheted snowflakes that I like to hang in windows. Your flying geese cushion is lovely!

Well.. your post was magical! You always inspire me and when I saw your snowflakes on the window I promptly went to Amazon and ordered a package of them. I can't wait to go around the house adhering them and turning our house into a snowy winter day. Love all your photos of the candles burning in the windows. Brilliant!

((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Hi! I'm enjoying scrolling through your posts from last year. I'm thinking of treating myself to one of your books for Christmas. Which one would you recommend for someone who is mostly interested in the little mice and rabbits? Thank you for the beautiful and inspiring pictures, it's so nice to escape to your pretty and comfortable world now and then.
