Festive Home

Hello dear readers.....we have some candle lit, cosy, homely pictures to share this week....
....we've mostly been here at home apart from a walk each day as we are still in lockdown....
.....although we don't fully decorate the house for christmas until after hubby's birthday (this weekend....cake baking tomorrow) a few festive things do creep in during november....
........and i love to light lots of candles all the time.....
........the garland made from dried oranges, limes and lemons and cinnamon sticks has a gorgeous scent...
......and the little sugar mouse has a new cardigan and scarf for the cold winter days (the knitting pattern for the cardigan fits the sugar bunny too and is now available in my etsy shop link in sidebar)....
........the  sweet decorative book stack came from my little chalet here......
......this is a new winter quilt i was sewing last weekend...i bought a jellyroll of moda fabrics in fleurs de noel by french general.....i rotary cut the strips and then chain pieced the four patches so it was very quick to sew...
.........love how it matches the colours of the maileg pixies too.......here is pixie girl back to enjoy christmas with us for another year....
.........this will be hand quilted...it's the next one on my list......(it jumped the queue)....
..........more cosiness with some beautiful flowers in festive colours.........
.........thanks for dropping by to see me here lovely readers and for the sweet comments you take the time to leave me.....wishing all my american friends a very happy thanksgiving.....keep safe and well everyone...enjoy lots of treats and creative times.......take care lovelies ......back soon xxxxxxxxxxx

The little sugar mouse looks very cosy in her hand knits.
Enjoy your week my friend and happy birthday to Mr P for the weekend.

Thank you for the uplifting setting here.
This stupid pandemic is getting depressing and tedious.

Wow, Helen, that new quilt is really stunning.. very classy color combinations. You're such a talented designer. Where do you find those red striped candles? I've got one of my freshly rolled red beeswax candles burning next to me right now. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Such lovely and cozy pictures. The candles make it especially cozy on these darker rainy, wintery days. Love your cute quilt - looking forward to seeing your hand quilting work on it. Enjoy your day, Helen!
