I've only recently added your blog to my list when I came across it. I love patchwork quilting although I haven't done any for a while. My love is knitting, although I learnt to crochet just this summer and that's my current passion LOL I made a blanket and now I'm making another! I think your blog is beautiful. I love the little collages and the vignette around your photos. I hope to get back into patchwork again soon and your blog is certainly inspiring :)

Helen,
Another inspiring post this morning! I love the basket of pumpkins topped off with the little blackbird. Your heartstrings quilt is so sweet. As usual I envy how you are hand quilting it, so perfectly. The picket fence is awesome and will be just the ticket to frame all your flowers. Looking forward to seeing those pictures next spring and summer.
Thank you for sharing.

Oh Helen, I'm just imagining all those pretty cottage garden plants behind that beautifully painted picket fence!! It's going to be wonderful!
Such pretty autumnal images ... I'm going to have to look out for that little plant, its berries are so beautiful.
Have a lovely week and enjoy your soup,

LOVE your box of Fall pretties... the little pumpkins, mushrooms and the little deer! Your fence is gorgeous and fun... what a lot of work painting it but it looks absolutely lovely. I can just picture next summer there already, with short and tall flowers adorning it. As always, love your post and its bright and cheery colors. I still have a photo sitting by my computer that I printed out last year of your fabric pumpkins sitting on a white shelf... as inspiration for me! I see some little ceramic mushrooms there.. now you can add your squishy fabric ones! But I have as yet to make any sweet little pumpkins! Maybe one day................ Marilyn

Of all your pretty stitching I especially love your heartstrings quilt, Helen. I am just making a little progress on a crocheted baby blanket, but I'm grateful that my normally busy schedule was extra busy with five house showings last week! I have some Pansies I need to plant and managed to plant two mums and trim back the spent Hollyhocks. You inspire me with your garden plans. I hope you had a great visit with your friend. xxxx

I love those fabric mushrooms....must check out the pattern - I've been photographing lots of mushrooms recently so it would be wonderful to stitch some too! You hand quilting is amazing - you have so much patience to do this.

Those little fabric mushrooms are adorable! You can make anything, can't you!? Bravo on the picket fenced cottage garden, what a delightful addition to your home. Your friend is a very lucky lady to get to come and spend time with you in your warm home and to share some soup with you. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
