The weather is so glorious at the moment, it's so nice to sit outside eat alfresco. Do some hand sewing while away the evening.
Your quilts are so pretty Helen.
What a beautiful precious little quilt, made all the more so when its for a grandbaby!! :)
My sweet peas are slow too perhaps they like our more 'normal' summers!!! The weather has been wonderful so lovely to enjoy the garden instead of dodging showers!!
happy new week Helen,

Such a beautiful little quilt - and all hand-pieced, very special. I always enjoy looking at all the fabric pieces - each has a story to tell. So happy for your sunshine weather - and that you had a lovely birthday!
Your little quilt is adorable. I’m wondering if you made patches into strips or if you made nine patches and joined the blocks. Your colors are nicely scattered. Such a sweet comfort for your little one.
A belated Happy Birthday, Helen! The weather in the UK has been so unusual, hope it lasts a bit longer....at least until the end of July beginning of August as I'll be back visiting again and would appreciate the warmth!
Your quilt is gorgeous and the matching toys make a wonderful gift.
Helen,
Happy belated birthday to you! I am sure it was a wonderful day.
Love the sweet little cot quilt, love all the fabrics, especially the Pam Kitty Morning backing fabric. I have the dogwood fabric you used for the binding and I used that line in a patchwork quilt. Patchworks are some of my favorite quilts.
We had a wonderful weekend with a birthday party for three great- granddaughters (two of whom are three year old twins and their 12 year old sister). Later we enjoyed a cousins reunion dinner, then everyone gathered at our house for dessert. Happy times!
Thank you for sharing a beautiful post.

Happy Birthday, Helen! I hope this year is a blessed one for you. Your latest quilt and stitching are a joy to behold. Thanks for letting us admire them and be encouraged by your beautiful creations. I did not plant Sweetpeas this year so especially enjoy seeing yours! xx
Happy birthday, Helen! That little quilt is so pretty - I just love those colors. Have a great week!
*H*A*P*P*Y* * *B*I*R*T*H*D*A*Y*!*!*!* dear Helen! How nice that you share a birthday with the USA! :-) I bet you can't wait to wrap your little guest in that precious quilt. Isn't it neat to know that little one will have that for his whole life as a treasure from his beloved grandmother? ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
What a beautiful quilt! I will need to make one like that soon as I am to become a Grandma in November! Happy Birthday to you Helen, I hope you enjoyed your celebrations. I have a July birthday too and I am hoping that the weather will keep sunny for the day! Have a lovely week! Christine xx
Buona estate a te.
Happy belated birthday Helen, how lovely to have a summer day to celebrate outside. Your quilt looks beautiful ready for its precious visitor. Enjoy the weather, it's cooler here today but no rain again yet! Hugs xxx
Well a happy belated Birthday. I love your sweet quilt.
Thanks for sharing
Belated happy birthday. Your latest quilt is gorgeous. X
