Lovely post! The colourful crochet is delightful and the jug of flowers are gorgeous. Your book is now on my most wanted list :) Elizabeth xx
Painting stones is such a fun thing to do, I'm sure your grandchildren had fun!
Your crochet is so pretty Helen, I'm quite sure you don't want to give it away but I agree it would look good in the stripy bag!! :)
I'm really looking forward to seeing your book, I'm off now to read all the links!!
Have a good week,
V x
Your granny square blanket ended up so beautiful, the shell border really finishes it off with a flare. Your garden flowers are still lovely, ours have that "end of summer" droopy look now, the August heat is so hard on them. Glad you had some special time with your daughter and grandbabies - my son heads off to school tomorrow (after years of homeschooling) and I'm wondering what I'll do with all those empty hours. I'm sure sewing will take up lots of it.
Mary

I love seeing the flowers in your garden. The colours are a real tonic.
The blanket you've done I must Google the pattern . I think the wool you used is such good quaility and so soft for the price. I made my granddaughter at cardi out of it . I was very pleased how it turned out.
