Happy December

Hello again dear readers....happy december everyone........here we have the latest finished version of the peppermint trees quilt.....
..........the pattern for the original quilt is in my etsy shop link in sidebar.....this year i made a new version with pink trees as well as green ones....and a tree in every block instead of alternate ones.......
......it's fun to play around with patterns and create different quilts by just changing a few elements......
........this was hand quilted and is very soft and snuggly....perfect for these very chilly december days.....
.........regular readers may remember pixie girl from years gone by.......she's very large and rather sweet and don't tell the other pixies but she's my favourite.......
.........more sewing for this festive time.........patchwork hearts made from sweet liberty fabric scraps......
.........love how these little prints look together.......the patchwork hearts pattern is also in my etsy shop as before......these little hearts can be scented with drops of christmas fragranced oil, or tied onto a gift for a special look......
...........we had a beautiful frosty walk yesterday up a country lane near farmland.....here is a little cottage peeking through the frosty holly.........
..........molly looked at the camera for me ;)..........
........the very old church tower and lots of frosty ivy.........
........one more peppermint trees quilt view........we certainly need our quilts at the moment........it's another bright but freezing day again with ice and frost......
..........thank you for dropping by to my little blog space dear readers and thank you so much for your kind comments and messages.....it's always a joy to hear from you......wishing you a happy start to december wherever in the world you are.....and if you're in the chillier parts like me, keep cosy.........take care lovelies.............peace and love.........................back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I do love your new peppermint quilt Helen and I'm sure it's going to get lots of use at the moment because it certainly has got chilly ... love your sweet little hearts too!
Even though it's nippy out it is lovely to get out for a walk, your local walk looks so pretty and how nice to see little Molly.
Happy weekend my dear,

What a beautiful quilt Helen! Who would have thought to make pink Christmas trees? They are like fairy floss...I think you may call it candy floss or candy cane? Anyway, it is gorgeous!

Your peppermint quilt is so very sweet. Love it with the alternating pink and white backgrounds and cute, cute tree blocks. Molly is adorable, and still reminds me of our two Bishons. Frosty and snowy weather here too, but with 'a bit' more snow :) - enjoy snuggling under your beautiful quilts.
