July Days

Hello again dear readers.........it's been a busy week here making things, gardening, going for walks, sorting things out......there were some fabric scraps from a new quilt i'm making on my work table.....
........and i used them to make these three little seaside hearts..........
.....the patchwork hearts pattern is in my etsy shop link in sidebar.......
.........the cottage garden suffered with the heatwave but a few recent thundery downpours have helped and more things are recovering and flowering now.....
.........we planted a new bay tree in a pot in the centre if the cottage garden (the original willow tree was no more and had to be removed)......i was going to underplant the bay tree with white petunias....but then i saw these candy striped ones......
..........more petunias filling the tub on the patio.......love this colour.....
........it looks quite bright here but it's quite a subtle rich pink in reality.......
......early this week i called in to the charity shop to donate something and saw this cute little pink chair...
......could just imagine a big bunny sitting on it with a patchwork cushion......
..........and so it came home with me and here it is.......mabel loves it......(big bunny pattern, flying geese cushion pattern in my etsy shop as before).........
..........the first dahlias from our little patch shown here today.....more are in bud too.....they are such amazingly strong plants and flowers.......glad i managed to over winter them too.......

.....thank you for dropping by dear blog friends and for leaving me sweet comments and messages.....it's so nice to hear from you.......hope you are having a happy july with plenty of flowers and crafty inspirations......take care lovelies.................peace and love....................back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Good buy on the pink chair. It is perfect for bunny. Glad the garden is coming back from the heat wave.
We are having a rain wave here in New England.

Oh, your garden is so beautiful!! The striped petunias are perfect. Looks like an amazing place to escape from the world and just sew or read all day. Love it!

Love those little hearts Helen ... so pretty!
Your petunias are wonderful, I too love a stripey one. :) Gorgeous dahlias too, I'm afraid I never have much luck with dahlias, the slugs and snails enjoy them too much. :(
What a lucky girl Mabel is with her lovely new pink chair.
Happy weekend lovely,
