Spring Nine Patch

Hello dear blog readers..........we are full of the joys of spring here this week.....this is my new spring nine patch quilt on the cottage garden fence......and below if you look very closely are two (real) baby bunnies spotted on our walk yesterday.....
.......we were walking on the local cliffs and i took my phone out to take a picture of the gorse and blue sky......and then i saw the bunnies too....
.......lovely to see more and more flowers appearing each day......like these primulas in the front garden....
.........each week on instagram i've been joining in with showing quilt stacks on a sunday...
.......last week i showed some in the potting shed.....
........with one of my little hens.....
......and a birdie hanger too.....
........it's lovely to be out in the garden again and enjoying the fresh air and taking pictures of quilts....
.....this spring nine patch quilt was made mainly with left over jellyroll scraps......
.....i spent a long time choosing the sashing fabric and love this soft green.....when i first showed this quilt lots of people asked for a pattern so it's now in my etsy shop link in sidebar....
........the daffodils were some i planted in october.......this quilt is a small square one which makes a lovely table topper or wall quilt too.....today i am making some easter decorations.....will show you soon ;) ....
..........thanks so much for dropping by to see me here and for the sweet comments you leave me.....wishing you all a happy week ahead, with flowers, sunshine and lots of crafty creative times.......take care lovelies...........back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Such pretty spring colours in your quilt. The green sashing is lovely. Bunnies are so cute, but oh, I do not want them in my garden!

I love the yellows and greens in your sweet 9 patch! The green sashing is just perfect.. and of course, it looks awesome on your picket fence! You are so lucky to have flowers popping up. We have nothing yet! Oh.. I do see that my neighbor has one bunch of daffodils that have popped up and are blooming! I NEED to plant some bulbs this Fall! Marilyn

You always have the most beautiful little quilts! I Love this sweet 9-patch -- it's one of my very favorite quilt blocks. And your sashing choice is perfect!
