Christmas Time

Hello dear readers....we are very busy here at reindeer road getting ready for christmas.......
.............and doing some essential crafting like making this reindeer cushion with some of my favourite scraps ;).............the pixies are all out and about now helping and looking cute.....
...........the reindeer cushion is another to add to my patchwork series made in previous years which i still use and love.....
.............and i think the reindeer road sign might just have to stay up now......
............in my sewing room the winter quilt made a couple of years ago is on the wall behind my sewing table......
..............it's very twinkly and cosy in there with fairy lights and candles............
............i found my holly hexie pot holder and put it in the kitchen to add to the festive feel.....
...........enjoying lots of mince pies and hot cups of tea.....
...........i snapped this picture beneath the beautiful holly tree in our local churchyard.....it's a good year for holly berries here......and below is a quick easy make.....a holly pincushion made with wool felt bobbles and snipped felt holly leaves and a bit of festive ribbon with a message on......
.............we are really looking forward to christmas and family times (and seeing the small grandchildren open their presents)......lots to do still and i will be taking a little blog break next week.......
............thank you for dropping by here all year round lovely blog friends.....your comments are a joy to read........i wish you all a very merry christmas and happy holidays.......hope all your wishes come true......take care and enjoy the season however you spend it....sending lots of love to everyone who reads my blog..................back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  4. The Reindeer Road sign is so charming, my heart smiles everytime I see it. Deer, moose, elk, reindeer are favorite motifs. Will you be designing fabrics to go with the sign or a quilt pattern?
