…………...my granddaughter wrapped molly up in the christmas quilt...she loved it....
…………..my elder daughter and her husband hosted christmas day for us all......below is a peek at her pretty dining table...……..
………..later in the day when dusk was falling...……...and betsy and molly having their own special dogs' christmas dinners in the kitchen.....
………..we had a family buffet at our house on boxing day.....this is the trifle i made just like the ones i made in the 80's :)……..a trip down memory lane as i haven't made one for a long time.....
………..the tiny cross stitched dala horse i showed you last time was made into this cute little pincushion using sweet fabrics from the guestroom collection for moda……..

I made a trifle for boxing day too, I also haven't made one in years but this time mine was completely vegan and even so I say so myself it was good. :)

  7. Helen,
Such a beautiful post to celebrate Christmas with the end of one year and the beginning of a new one. Inspiration abounds with the Christmas quilt, cross stitched pincushion, and your new star quilt. I am excited to start new projects and my hope is to finish many of the WIPs I have hidden away.
Thank you for sharing, and I am looking forward to seeing the many new projects you have up your sleeve this year.

  9. Dear Helen, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful life with your devoted readers. I consider you a real true friend even though we've never met. I showed Dayle your daughter's lovely table and we agreed that she inherited your fabulous style. I look forward to another year of seeing your inspiring handcrafts.

  16. Happy New Year to you too! I'm excited to see what 2019 brings! Loved your pictures from previous posts.... I'm so in love with the little red and white "trees"... and love the quilt draped over the white picket fence. Who doesn't like a white picket fence to hang things on? I definitely want one! And the little cross stitched horse is just precious. Your daughter set up a beautiful Christmas table.. she surely does take after her mom... and your trifle looks delicious. I don't know how they are made or what's in them, but it looks beautiful! Your new project looks like fun too! Have a wonderful weekend! Marilyn
