Merry Wishes

We are certainly feeling very festive here now...........these are some pictures of my studio this week........i've been working on a magazine commission with a deadline just after the new year.....
..............and i've been wrapping presents in here too as it's quite a good place to hide them....
.............. we found a cute little tall thin tree which is just right in here.........
.............one of my red and white cushions, old letters tied up with christmas ribbon and a pretty cath kidston mug from a few years ago.......
............downstairs on the china cupboard is a handmade fabric bird (from my 'modern vintage gifts' book) in a holly heart (from gisela graham)............and below in the sitting room is the maileg pixie boy on the quilt cupboard (which has been sorted out and lots of the quilts moved to a new storage place...more about this later)......
...........so much sorting out going on here and having less 'stuff' around is very peaceful.......
..............molly is so happy snuggled among the quilts, blankets and pixies.......this is how she looked before her christmas hair cut........she looks different now :)...........we tried on her christmas collar today but it was a bit too big so will have to be adjusted to fit..........
.................the flowers below are happily blooming and all the little xmas signs are reappearing....
.............as well as red and white quilts i also love red, white and blue ones too..........this is the evening star one i made a few years ago...........
............and this is the nordic stitches one made with moda charm packs and  some red applique reindeer....this is just a peek and i'll show the whole quilt properly in a future post.....
............the lists are getting ticked off and the food shopping is ordered.......the mince pies and christmas cookies have been baked.............we have been to the children's carol service and listened to the sweetest young voices singing and enjoyed the candles lighting the darkness...........
..............next week i will be taking a little blog break to enjoy the festive family times......
............thank you to everyone who visits me here through the year and special thanks for the kind comments you take the time to leave me, i always love to read them............ wishing all my dear readers a very merry christmas and happy holidays, peace, love and goodwill...........back soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxooooooooooooooooooooooxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
