  8. Wow love those colour combinations. I had not thought about using the silver grey - very pretty colourways both of them.

I am in the dog house where wool is concerned at the moment with OH he considers that I have more than enough wool! Crochet is one of my main hobbies and I promised a young mum a throw for when she was nursing baby. I have been and bought the wool today a peppermint green and white Her choice of colours). Hopefully I will get this started this coming weekend. I have two lap throws to finish off before then. I work systematically preparing all the centres then the next rows etc. and then I go and buy the background wool to finish everything off. I find it easier this way as sometimes I do not have much time but at least I am doing something. Have a lovely New Year and look forward to viewing your work to come. Take care. Pattypan xx

  18. It is lovely to see your projects and your plants, Helen. I am very excited about the Amaryllis bulb I grew last winter. I kept it in hopes of coaxing it to bloom again. Several weeks ago I started watering it and it has grown over foot tall stem topped with a promising bud! I will post a photo when the bud opens :) May you and yours be blessed with a happy 2016. xx

  24. Hello, Helen...I am here from the rave post by Brenda..she was right..this is a wonderful blog. I am now following thru Google Friends Connect and by email.
PLEASE tell me you sell some of your beautiful creations...I don't have a crafting bone in my entire, olden body and could never do the things you do. They are so pretty...and I really enjoy your talent with color...I can't help but wonder if your children inherited some of your talents. My mother was so like you...she could do anything she wanted to do...I, however, didn't get a bit of her talents. :(
I would love for you to come see me sometime but please know that my blog is nothing like yours...no crafts or anything...just my every day life.
