My Japanese anemones are doing well too..I love them and they do so well in a bouquet. I know people complain about them spreading, but I don't mind..I would like a few more.

My English Breakfast is brewing as I start my day here in Victoria BC Canada.

I hope your sun stays for Monday (we've lost that lovely summer sun we enjoyed yesterday to cooler and overcast skies today)I bought a lot of quilting fabric yesterday at an estate sale and when I had it out to dry after washing, it dried in no time!(Plus everything always smells better when it's hung out on the line)That won't happen today as I wash the remainder.

This little purple scissors look fun and the labels from Aunt Lydia's carpet and button thread really make the little sewing gifts don't they? All this pretty prizes look gorgeous. I would love to win any one of them. My Mother in law just gave me two Japanese anemone plants a couple of weeks ago. They're pretty small plants but one has quite a few buds on it. Was at my Sisters today and she has one that is very big, covered in flowers and absolutely gorgeous so I hope my two do well. I have only just discovered your delightful blog, so I'm not sure I am as deserving as some of your other more devoted readers...just wanted to say how pretty the flowers are in this post - especially the Japanese anemones.
