Today is a very special day here...it's my blog birthday!! For one year I've been occupying this little space and what a wonderful year it's been...I didn't realise just how much blogging would enrich my creative life and that I would meet so many wonderful bloggers out there who like the same things and share a real creative connection...
So it's time for a giveaway, and it just had to be a crafty one...when I tidied up my work things a few weeks ago I realised I have LOT of things in my stash, some that have been given to me by companies I work for ......so I decided to give some away. First I chose a little bag to put them all in...a bit like a lucky bag filled with surprises...
This little drawstring bag is handmade, though not by me..I bought it from a lovely lady at a local craft fair.....
And in the bag are lots of beautiful beads and buttons (and some sequins too, not shown in the pix)....
A whole rainbow of gorgeous specialist threads - perfect not just for sewing with but for embellishing cards, threading through tags, sewing on beads for added sparkle.....
Some card charms shaped like flowers...
...a bundle of printed cotton fabric with cupcakes and a party theme...plus other small crafty surprises so you can dip in and find crafty inspiration to play around with...

Off to do some more work now - I'm busily crafting at the moment working on various commisions including cross stitch sampler charts, patchwork, applique, sewing, drawing and writing up instructions...so if I have seemed a little quieter than usual that is why!
