I too have had a slower start this week - with a lot of laundry and cleaning after guests had left; and since my sewing room hadn't been in use for a few weeks, I felt lost as to where to start again :) - but no worries, that soon dissipated, and I was back in my element again. Enjoy your beautiful flowers - they are often the best gifts! I can't imagine cutting all those tiny pieces and sewing them together. I'm not very good at sewing anyways but would really love to do some slow stitching. Molly is adorable. Sounds like your walk was of the slow variety with that many in tow. :) We've had many gray days here lately. Yours is very pretty, and the baptist fan pattern is perfect for it. I have one ready to quilt for my youngest daughter, and another one with only the nine patches sewn.
It is a gray and gloomy day here, and I have not been very productive, getting over a cold and cough. I did manage to put a pineapple upside down cake in the oven and a pot of soup on the stove. Maybe now I will pick up one of the knitting or crochet projects that I have in my basket, or just read a while. I am currently reading Still Life by Louise Penny.
Thank you for sharing.
Mickie, Indiana USA
Mickienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6020904173403709669.post-85659865674726856032019-01-07T18:35:36.082+00:002019-01-07T18:35:36.082+00:00I sure do love that quilt...lovely pattern and col...I sure do love that quilt...lovely pattern and colors!Linda @ Itsy Bits And Pieceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12090973681675943970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6020904173403709669.post-54018091183475377132019-01-07T18:28:33.019+00:002019-01-07T18:28:33.019+00:00Beautiful quilts.
